Grief Support

The death of an infant is tragic. Sometimes, no matter what we do, things happen that we never expect. Whether through newborn death, SUID, or an accident, infants die leaving their families totally shocked and unprepared. The death of a baby is a shattered dream.

 

Program Goal
The Infant Loss Family Support Program assists parents, siblings, extended family members, friends, co-workers, childcare providers and other professionals in learning to build the necessary skills to cope with the sudden death of an infant to any cause.  We offer support groups, peer support, commemorative events, and online, telephone and email support.

 

Referrals
Referrals will be accepted in Missouri and surrounding counties for all sudden deaths of infants (after birth through the first year of life).
